The Office of the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Tribhuvan University, has conducted the second phase of the residential training program under the title “Faculties' Professional Capacity Enhancement Program (PCEP)” in Kathmandu from 2083/01/11 to 2083/01/17 with the financial support of the University Grants Commission. The main objective of this training is to enhance the professional capacity of teachers. The program covers participatory and innovative teaching methods; modern assessment systems used in the teaching-learning process; effective use of information technology in learning; necessary curricula and teaching strategies according to the global competitive environment; as well as research-oriented writing and publishing-related topics. The training was formally inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Gyan Bahadur Thapa, Member Secretary of the University Grants Commission. A total of 30 teachers from both the constituent and community campuses are actively participating in the program. Out of the total duration of this 75-hour training, one week will be conducted residentially, and the remaining 12 days will be conducted online, which has made the training more flexible and effective.
