The Faculties' Professional Capacity Enhancement Program (PCEP) is a comprehensive training workshop conducted at Hotel Pauwa Pvt. Ltd., Lakeside, Pokhara, from Chaitra 21–27, 2082 (April 4–10, 2026). The program is designed to strengthen the professional competencies of faculty members by focusing on modern teaching-learning practices, effective assessment strategies, digital integration, and academic writing skills. It aims to promote the use of participatory and innovative pedagogical approaches in the classroom, apply appropriate assessment techniques to measure teaching and learning outcomes, and effectively embed digital technology and e-learning resources into educational practices. Furthermore, the program seeks to link education with the world of work by aligning teaching with labor market needs and to enhance participants’ writing capacity, enabling them to publish their research work.
The training content is structured into five major modules that reflect contemporary approaches in education. These include Education for the World of Work and Competency-Based Curriculum (EWW-CBC), which emphasizes aligning curriculum with practical and market-relevant skills; Assessment in Teaching and Learning (ATL), which focuses on modern evaluation techniques; Participatory and Innovative Pedagogy (PIP), which highlights learner-centered teaching methods; Digital Technology and e-Learning (DTL), which explores the integration of digital tools and online resources in education; and Writing and Publication (WP), which aims to develop academic writing and research publication skills. Overall, the program is expected to enhance faculty members’ capacity to deliver effective, engaging, and technology-integrated instruction while contributing to the improvement of higher education quality.
